There are two parts you need to know about:

So we are going to list each supported device / platform, and take you through each.
Android TVs & Android TV app ( available )
- Open the Play Store & search for NixCast by Nixplay
- Or in a browser go to https://bit.ly/NixCastGooglePlay
- Install the app and launch it
FireTV ( available )
- Go to apps and search for NixCast
- Or in a browser go to https://bit.ly/NixCastAmazon
- Install the app and launch it
Web Browser ( available * )
Most modern up to date browsers can support NixCast but many SmartTVs browser versions may not work. However if you want to view on a laptop, internet enabled projectors and other devices this is a good fall back option, and its really easy just go to https://nixplay.tv 😀
Samsung ( available )
Samsung TVs in the USA now offer NixCast on over 250 models from 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024. To access NixCast, go to the Apps section on your TV and search for NixCast. If you have a Samsung TV in another country, you might still be able to use NixCast via the TV's built-in internet browser. To check compatibility, open the browser and visit nixplay.tv
LG ( coming soon )
LG are in carrying out their final reviews and completing their own internal testing before approving NixCast for release
Once the app installed on your device and launched, or you've visited https://nixplay.tv you should see a QR code on your screen.
2. The mobile app
Next, you simply use the Nixplay mobile app and choose what it is you want to cast and watch on your devices.
From you list of albums choose the one you want to watch by tapping it
Tap the 'TV' icon
Great, you should see a TV icon all that needed is a quick press and follow the onscreen instructions.
Scan the QR code
Once you see a Scan QR Code prompt, simply point your phones camera at the QR code on the device with a QR code its screen - making sure its positioned like on the example below.
Then follow the instructions on your phone and you are good to go!
